After a 37-year career that includes years of dedicated service to Coho Partners, Brian Kramp, Portfolio Manager and Director of Research, is setting his sights on a well-deserved retirement.
Brian has been a valued member of the Investment Team and has helped shape Coho’s culture for nearly 15 years. He made important contributions to the firm and our clients in his role on the Board of Directors, as a portfolio manager, investment analyst, and thought leader.
Peter Thompson, Coho’s Chief Investment Officer said, “I speak for the entire firm when I say his experience, leadership, and collaboration will be missed. We are pleased that Brian will remain on the Board of Directors in his retirement and we look forward to keeping in close contact with him and his family as he embarks on the next chapter.”
Brian’s transition toward retirement began over a year ago. While he will be missed, our succession planning is designed to respond to naturally occurring personnel changes without significant disruption to our business. We believe the experience and tenure of our Investment Team members will keep the portfolios properly positioned for success following Brian’s retirement on December 31, 2020.
“The firm has never been in a better position to succeed on behalf of our clients, and I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done to make Coho a highly competitive investment firm and a great place to work. I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family in addition to expanding my support of local philanthropies,” said Kramp who serves as the treasurer of the Andrew L. Hicks Jr. Foundation.
It has been a privilege working with Brian and now it is our honor to help him celebrate his retirement.
