Nimrit joined Coho Partners in 2017 to focus on research and portfolio management. In addition, she is a member of the Investment Committee. She has 17 years of experience in the financial industry and is a partner of the firm.
Before joining Coho, Nimrit was the director of research and investment strategy for ICMA-RC, where she was responsible for leading manager research and due diligence and ongoing oversight of a broad suite of equity strategies. She also served as the lead portfolio manager for the multi-asset class corporate portfolio. In her previous role, she spent 12 years at DuPont Capital Management, where her portfolio management and research experience spanned across fundamental, quantitative, and absolute return strategies and US and international markets. All through her career, Nimrit has advocated for multi-stakeholder models to generate long-term shareholder returns.
Nimrit graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the CFA Institute and served as a board member for the CFA Society of Philadelphia from 2013-2016. Nimrit also served as the Fundraising Chair of the Social Enterprise Initiative for the Harvard Business School Club of Philadelphia and currently heads its programming efforts. She has been a frequent guest lecturer for the University of Delaware and Villanova University. Over the years, she has been involved with numerous non-profit organizations in the greater Philadelphia area serving as a board member for the Wilmington Montessori School and the Darlington Arts Center. Currently, she volunteers with COMPASS to provide pro-bono consulting services to local non-profits. Nimrit serves on CFAP’s sustainable investing committee and is a member of Project W, a giving circle to fund women-owned businesses in the Philadelphia area.
